The Zeekr Mix electric minivan with hidden B-pillars and 3 sliding doors started deliveries in China. It starts at 279,900 yuan (39,250 USD) and offers a record-breaking interior space utilization rate.
The Zeekr Mix launched in China on October 23. It has become the sixth car in the Geely-backed brand’s lineup. After the launch, some netizens complained that the Mix is overpriced, as it starts at almost 40,000 USD. However, Zeekr reported that 70% of customers have bought the top-trim Zeekr Mix, which costs 299,900 yuan or 42,100 USD. On October 24, the first clients received their cars.
Zeekr Mix started deliveries in China
The Zeekr Mix (see specs) started deliveries a day after the market launch. The brand’s officials shared that the first cars were handed over to customers in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. They also described the first day after the launch as “hot.”
Zeekr is quite proud of the Mix’s delivery speed in China. They have mentioned that they have reached the industry’s leading delivery speed. It is worth mentioning that the Mix’s volume production began on October 21. So, it took Zeekr 3 days to hand over manufactured cars to owners.
However, we have to underline that the Zeekr Mix was a long-awaited model as it first applied for a sales license in China in March 2024. And the actual car made it to the market only seven months later. It is unknown why it took the Geely-backed brand so long to start the actual sales.
As mentioned, Zeekr shared that 70% of customers have ordered the top-trim Mix with a 102 kWh ternary NMC battery for a 702 km range. The rest have picked the entry-level model with a 76 kWh LFP pack for 550 km. 40% of customers have also ordered the Zeekr Stargate interactive LED element in the front end. It costs 8,000 yuan (1,100 USD) extra.
The exact volume of the first batch of Zeekr Mix cars is unknown. In the first 9 months of 2024, Zeekr delivered 142,873 cars, completing 62.1% of its sales target, which is 15.1% higher than the average sales goal achievement rate among Chinese NEV makers in China. The Zeekr Mix launch can further boost the brand’s sales volume in the final quarter of the year.

The Zeekr Mix electric minivan adopts unique exterior styling with short overhangs and a round-ish shape. Its dimensions are 4668/1995/1775 mm with a wheelbase of 3008 mm. Inside, the Zeekr Mix has an in-cabin space utilization rate of 93%. It is the best figure in the industry. Another feature of the Mix is two sliding doors in the front passenger’s side that provide an entrance width of 1480 mm.
The Zeerk Mix has a single e-motor in the rear axle with a peak power output of 310 kW (415 hp). Its zero-to-hundred acceleration time is 6.8 seconds. The Mix has two battery options: 76 kWh LFP for the 550 km range and 102 kWh ternary NMC for the 702 km range.

Tiny? It has over 500L space when seats are up and over 1000L when folded. It has the highest capacity utilisation in the interior among competitors. You have more than enough space in this vehicle. VW Id buzz and Hyundai models doesn’t have half the features, technology, power and the speed of this vehicle. Those models are nothing Infront of this.
The five-seat, standard-wheelbase model has 1,211 litres of luggage space with the rear seats in place. That’s almost as much as space as the Volkswagen ID.3 has with all its seats folded down! Fold the Buzz’s rear bench flat and storage space swells to a whopping 2,205 liters!

VW buzz is decades behind zeekr mix in terms of range, technology, software interface and UI, speed, charging speed, capacity utilisation, material quality and the exterior design styling. ID Buzz doesn’t stand a chance.
unless you are in china, its irrelevant. Question is if its going to be niche or volume player for Zeekr. 7x already has started very well selling 10K in 25 days.
