Thank you, China. The Germans (BMW, Benz, Audi etc) are now feeling the heat. They are forced to look at their backs as sales have massively dropped. Chinese vehicles have the best affordable offerings. We are now spoiled for choice at a cheaper price point with modern sophisticated features. Chinese vehicles will definitely dominate the auto industry, I am happy that we can now afford fully loaded array of high end / top of the line Bells & Whistles in cars.

Does it matter to which country they export? Export is export no matter where. Plus, it’s all thanks to western companies for pulling out of Russia and allowing them to dominate one of the largest car markets. Also, Chery’s export markets are Europe, Central Asia, Australia, South America, etc., not only Russia. It’s better to rely on countries that are friendly to you rather than countries that are imposing tariffs on you.

Ask Chery about top export markets. It will be Russia by far, more than half of exported cars and Iran. SAIC has completely different mix of markets. No1 is UK, 2nd market is Australia. No presence in Russia. Volume is volume, but journalists should pay attention to such details.
