On July 29, Seres held a ceremony to celebrate the 400,000th Aito vehicle rolling off the assembly line and the 70,000th Aito M9 vehicle being delivered, making Aito the fastest new energy vehicle brand to achieve this milestone, according to the carmaker.
Earlier this month, Seres announced it spent 2.5 billion yuan (344 million USD) to buy the Aito trademark and associated patents from Huawei. Aito (Adding Intelligence to Auto) is a new energy vehicle brand jointly launched by Huawei and Seres, established in December 2021.
