YangWang U7 details

Today, YangWang shared the official images of the U7 sedan. The brand representatives called it the “flagship NEV sedan”. They confirmed it stands on the e⁴ platform and has over 1,000 hp (750 kW). The front end of the YangWang U7 adopts the brand’s signature headlights. We at CarNewsChina call them “carving forks”. The front bumper of the U7 has a large air intake with ultrasonic radar mounted on it. Its side skirt and splitters are made of carbon fiber.

The YangWang U7 has a sloped bonnet line and a LiDAR sensor from RoboSense. From the back, it has a single taillight unit and a sporty rear diffuser. Other fine details of its exterior are five-spoke R21 rims with Continental tires, and retractable door handles.

There is no detailed information about the YangWang U7 powertrain. Since YangWang representatives called it an “NEV sedan”, there is a possibility it will become an EREV, similar to the U8 SUV. However, we are sure the U7 will feature four electric motors. The price tag of this sedan will reach 1 million yuan (140K USD). The YangWang representatives didn’t reveal more information on their newest model. More about the U7 as we get it.

  1. This is a much more attractive, unique looking Sedan. Has its own character. Is a very good effort compare to recently launch yet disppointing XiaoMi SU7 and the plain looking NIO ET9.
