Interesting about Qilu is that it is fully owned by the provincial government (Shandong province), unlike other Chinese makers where the local government usually owns just a minority of shares. The total investment is supposed to be 5 billion CNY (800 million USD).

Car was reportedly co-developed with Chery, which is quite obvious from the design, which is pretty similar to Chery Eq1.

Qilu will start selling its first vehicle in September this year.
